As of January 1, 2010, all employee and volunteer permit holders in the state of Indiana are required to attend a certified server training within 120 days of employment.
In order to come into compliance, all current permit holders must attend an approved server training program by May 1, 2011 (Indiana Code 7.1-3-1.5-13b).
Please note: The TIPS training alone is not recognized in the state of Indiana. In order to be in compliance, you must take the certified course that is sanctioned by the Alcohol & Tobacco Commission for the State of Indiana.
Just a reminder that if you were certified in 2010, your certification expires this year on the date you were trained. Don't forget to plan ahead so you don't lose your certification.
